The experience was such great from start to finish. Room was bright and clean with the sofa bed. Everything here was wonderful; would have extended the stay.

Location was perfect and quiet in the safe area short walk to main sites and the centre of York. The staff were very very helpful and amiable.

This place is in a great location, very close to all attractions and main sites, with friendly and attentive staff, including the best host ever, and the room even had a sofa bed.

Its residential location was convenient to The York Dungeon. Staff was awesome and provided us with a microwave oven, a sofa bed and central heating.

This place was a great spot to set off on adventures from. I was happy with my stay here. The room I had was well-lit and had safety features like smoke detectors, which was comforting. 😊 The staff went above and beyond to assist me, making my experience even better.

We had a fantastic stay at the Victorian Retreat! Amanda welcomed us with a friendly meet and greet, providing a quick tour and a welcome pack with the essentials like milk, tea, and coffee. The location is perfect, being less than 5 minutes walk from the city centre in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment itself is charming, comfortable, and clean, with all the necessary amenities for self-catering. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the heating kept us warm throughout our stay. We loved the little details, such as having milk and orange juice in the fridge. a wonderful experience that we would definitely recommend.
